Youth Education Programs
Introduce your students to one of Maryland’s greatest treasures. The back bays and creeks of Maryland’s Eastern Shore are truly stunning and provide the perfect backdrop for hands on environmental education and science.
At Ayers Creek Adventures we provide combined educational and recreational programs for students of all ages. Land based games and discussions set the stage for a fun and informative kayaking experience.
A day with Ayers Creek Adventures will provide your students with an increased appreciation of coastal waterways and an awareness of:
• Coastal ecology and geomorphology
• Water quality trends
• Terristial habitats and wildlife
• Fisheries science
• Sea level rise
Your students will take away an understanding of their impact on the environment and ideas on how they can be better stewards of the earth.
Ayers Creek Adventures can arrange programs for
as few as 5 to as many as 50 students.
Age specific programs ranging from 2 hours to a
full day will be designed with your specific goals
and timeframes in mind.
Ayers Creek Adventures is located along scenic Ayers Creek just minutes from Ocean City, Assateague Island, and historic Berlin, MD.
No experience is necessary.
All equipment is provided by Ayers Creek Adventures.
